Rural External Evaluation Sample Design (General)
This technical note describes the overall design of the rural external evaluation, its sampling procedures, data collection instruments, and the structure and management of the databases generated. It also suggests some strategies for the analysis of the data according to the proposed designs. This information is intended to provide a general framework for the analysis of quantitative databases of Oportunidades' rural external evaluation.

Urban External Evaluation Sample Design

This technical note describes the overall design of the evaluation in urban localities, its sampling procedures, data collection and capture of information, and the structure and management of databases generated. It suggests some strategies for the analysis of the information according to the general structure of the data collection. This document is intended to provide a general framework to facilitate the analysis of the databases derived from the urban external evaluation surveys collected between 2002 and 2005.
